Membership
The Society is always interested in welcoming new members. There are also numerous opportunities for non-performers to contribute towards and enjoy the teamwork of putting together a production through front-of-house activities or assisting with props, costumes or stage management. If you think you might be interested in joining the GWOS team, why not come along to a rehearsal or contact us. We look forward to seeing you!
The society offers three categories of membership:
Full membership: £45 - entitles performance in all main shows and concerts for the year as well as basic membership benefits
Basic membership: £10 - for those performing in concerts only or helping backstage, will also receive details throughout the year about the production, future concerts & social occasions
Friends of the society: £10 annually this year - same benefits as basic but for every ticket ordered for the show, a voucher will be received entitling a free drink at the bar.

Gilbert and Sullivan's "Pirate of Penzance" - 27th-31st March 2012 at The Swan Theatre, Worcester.
Join GWOS for a splendid swashbuckling evening. This well-known show is packed with memorable songs: I am the very model of a modern Major-General, A Policeman’s Lot Is Not Happy One, I am a Pirate King, the beautiful waltz Poor Wand’ring One, the gloriously melodic Hail poetry! and many more tunes. Gilbert and Sullivan poke fun at many English types and institutions. Their affectionate fun is as topical today as when it first delighted audiences over a hundred years ago.
