Great Witley Operatic Society is an amateur society which has its origins in the Worcestershire village of Great Witley, but now attracts members from a wide area including Worcester, Droitwich and Malvern.
We stage an annual production every Spring, usually at the Swan Theatre in Worcester. We also perform concerts in the summer, usually raising money for charities. Our repertoire Includes Musical Theatre (mainly Gilbert & Sullivan) and Grand Opera, as well as Light Opera.
The Society rehearses on Monday evenings at the Village Hall in Holt Heath.
Rehearsals generally run from 19.30 to 21.30, and an additional night is often
necessary for Principals
If you think you might be interested in joining the GWOS team, why not come along to a rehearsal or contact us? We look forward to seeing you.
